Meet Your Farmers

Jacquelin, a formally trained herbalist and lifelong gardener, has lived in Virginia her entire life and carries a deep passion for the natural world into every part of how she lives. She believes in living close to the land and practicing what she teaches, growing and preserving much of what her family eats and using herbs and plants from the homestead whenever possible. Her daily life reflects a commitment to self reliance, sustainability, and the belief that the best nourishment comes from what you can grow and care for yourself.

She joins forces with Patrick, a proud Caroline County native and citizen of the Rappahannock Tribe. Patrick has called Caroline County home for more than 50 years. Raised with strong local roots, he grew up watching his father work for REC and his mother can the family’s garden harvest to help feed their household. Those experiences shaped his respect for the land and traditional ways of living.

What began as a necessity to feed and educate their children has grown into a passionate lifestyle. With Jacquelin and Patrick at the helm, you are choosing authenticity, lived experience, and a genuine love for homesteading.
